Logistics automation leader, kyneos automation (previously called KS Control) partnered with BlueBotics in 2018, integrating our ANT localization+ technology to provide precise positioning for its growing range of automated forklifts.
Since then, the German firm has continued to expand its product offering, focusing on addressing challenging truck loading/unloading and multiple stacking applications.
Below the company’s General Manager, Martin Ruhland, gives his feedback on the experience of working with BlueBotics and ANT technology.
Our entry into the world of AGV solutions began with BlueBotics. The main challenge we aimed to solve was finding a reliable vehicle localization system that we could integrate into our applications for truck loading and unloading. With BlueBotics as our partner, we found exactly what we needed!
As with any new technology partnership, our main concern was whether the localization system would be precise and robust enough for our highly dynamic truck loading and unloading applications. We especially appreciate the flexibility of ANT navigation, which allows us to build custom solutions on top of it, such as our truck loading and unloading applications. Additionally, the ability to combine different navigation technologies, including SLAM and camera-based systems, gives us the freedom to tailor each solution to our customers’ specific environments and needs.
Creating maps and routes with BlueBotics technology is very intuitive — so much so that even I, as a Sales Manager, can handle simple setups myself. The system runs very reliably, which allows our team to focus fully on the customer’s application rather than worrying about the localization technology. It simply works.
Without BlueBotics’ technology, our solution as it exists today simply wouldn’t have been possible. The ANT localization+ system is a key enabler for our automated truck loading and unloading applications, and it’s allowed us to bring a reliable, scalable product to market.

Their online Support Portal also works very well and is a great additional resource.
